Here Symbian Anna Custom Firmware V7.5 for Nokia 5800/ 5530/ 5230/ X6. This CFW is reported to run more smoothly and gives you more free RAM.

How to Flash the Language Packs:

Extract Symbian Anna CFW ROFS2 with NFE 0.3
Then import C6v.41 language pack
Add files to the cfw with NFE and delete other “sys\bin\PtiKeymappings_xxx_xx.dll” files in CFW
Extract “peninputvkbwindowconfiginfo_01.rsc” or “peninputvkbwindowconfiginfo_83.rsc” from CFW and copy it to somewhere else!
Use “Nokia QWERTY-Keyboard Editor 1.3.6″ and add your language words to one of these keyboards. then save it and rename it (For example Farsi language code is 50, then rename the file to “peninputvkbwindowconfiginfo_50.rsc”
Replace “peninputvkbwindowconfiginfo_50.rsc” in cfw
Repack and enjoy!

Okay, do a soft reset and if it doesn’t work try hard reset. Do not forget to back up your phone’s data like contacts, msgs, etc. The codes are below:

Soft Reset:
1. *#7780# if you want to restore factory settings only and it will NOT delete data.

2. *#7370# if you want to reformat your phone and delete all the data in it.

Hard Reset:

You need to use the phone’s buttons and your 4 fingers to do this trick. Switch off the phone. (Remove the battery if you cannot turn it off)Press the buttons: GREEN + RED + CAMERA + ON simultaneously (DO NOT LET GO OF THE BUTTONS) until you see the “Select Country” option after the Nokia’s Handshake Welcome Logo appear.Choose your country, enter the date and time.If you were asked for a code, just type: 12345 (unless you change it)

Hi Sameera, the taskmanager app helps you kill apps running in background and devouring on battery. Open the battery saver, and select maximum battery option, it will significantly increase phone’s battery life.

It seems you have made some mistake while flashing. Reinsert the battery, and repeat the procedure again, and be more careful this time.

Thank You so much. I tried to edit the Portuguese language pack to Brazilian Portuguese with a hex editor after decrypt with NFE 0.3, but, after a few tries to know if it will work, looks like the anna cfw started to bug. I give up after two days of attemps. Did you know any language pack editor? With Hex Editors is even harder. I’ll be pleasure to try again and share with everyone.

eu ESTAVA usando o fw logo antes do 60. quando resolvi atualizar pro 60, coloquei esse cfw bem aí em cima, só que com pt-pt. Porém minha bateria queimou, a carcaça quebrou toda, eu fiquei com raiva e joguei a porra do celular na parede. Aí resolvi comprar um Nokia 500. Tava com o Anna até sábado. Sábado eu atualizei pro Belle.

Hi Mayur, I owned a Nokia 5800 2 years ago. It’s a long time you know, but I remember that in Anna you can put more than four Shortcuts. You can configure it from phone or display Settings. As for the WLAN problem, try restore factory settings.
There are certain apps too that can be helpful in configuring more shortcuts. You can try SPB Shell or Handy Shell.

Please attempt a factory settings restote from Settings. After the restart, it should be fixed. If not, reflash the CFW and follow the instructions given in the tutorial carefully. This is a common problem, do not panic.

Hi Bogdan, the developers claim that this CFW supports all RMs, and many people have with Devices with non-listed flashed it without any problem. It is up to you if you can take the risk. I will say neither ‘Yes’ nor ‘No’.

Dear Raakaysh,
I installed the cfw and it works fine, beside to particular problems. The first is that I can’t seem to make the favourite contacts appear with pics at the home screen, I have selected the widget but for some reason it doesn ‘t load the contacts.
The second one is that I don ‘t know how to open the ovi maps, anything that has to do with the maps is like a puzzle piece (its icon I mean).
Would you be able to find me any solution? The phone is for my father.

For when installed with the RM-551 V: 40.2 MY MOBILE did not care anymore
And reinstalled CFW TO NOKIA AND EVEN TURN THE ENGINE

I have installed the custom firmware v7.5 on my poor old 5800XM … this is really great !
I have only one major problem : there is no more handwriting recognition in the input method menu (only qwerty + alphanumeric). I would like to know if it is possible to reactivate it ?
Is there a simple way to do it ? (without reinstalling another CFW ?)
Remark : the function seems to be in the phone because the handwriting settings menu is still available in the settings menu and when I have installed swype, the handwriting input method option was temporarely available before rebooting my phone…
Any idea?

Thanks man! I installed it and it works fine.
But I have a problem. I need to have Farsi writing language (keyboard) so that I can write in Farsi, but I just cannot install that. I did try a lot, and all I could do was to add Farsi language, as a system language not writing language, to the firmware using these language packs.
How can I add Farsi writing language to this Anna 7.5 CFW???

Ok, before we start, you need to have “NFE 0.3″ (Nokia Firmware Editor version 0.3) and “Portuguese.lang” language pack. After you download those two, proceed to the next steps.
1. Open “NokiaFirmwareEditorStd.exe” or “NokiaFirmwareEditor.exe” in the NFE 0.3 folder.
2. Click “Open File” and browse to the firmware folder, select “RM-XXX_XXXXXXXX_prd.rofs2.VXX” and click Open.
3. In the NFE 0.3, now click “Extract”, and wait for the flashing red indicator text under “Current Operation” in the left bottom corner of the program, to write “Done! Ready for cooking…”.
4. After you extract the rofs2 file, in NFE 0.3, click the menu “Tools > Language Manager”.
5. In the window that pops up, click the tab “Import/Export Languages”. and then click the “Import” button. Now browse for the “Portuguese.lang” file (or any other language file you want to install on your phone) and click “Open”.
6. Wait for the Operation at the bottom of the Language Manager window, to write “Finished”.
7. Close the Language Manager window. You have now successfully added your language to the firmware, and all
you need to do, is repack the rofs2 file, and you’re good to go. In the NFE 0.3 main window, click “Repack/Rebuild”. After it finishes repacking, a file by the name “RM-XXX_XXXXXXXX_prd.rofs2.ReBuilt.VXX” is created in the same location as the initial rofs2 file you opened. This is the new rofs2 file you should use.
8. You may now backup your original rofs2 file, and rename the new file you created to the original “RM-XXX_XXXXXXXX_prd.rofs2.VXX” name.
9. You can now flash you phone and have fun, Portuguese style!
